uCheck can escalate an application only when it meets the DBS escalation criteria.
The DBS allows uCheck to escalate when:
The application has been in Stage 4 (records held by police) for 60 days.
Key points:
Stage 4 is when the application is with the police for their checks.
Once an application has been at Stage 4 for 60 days, uCheck will automatically escalate it for you.
You do not need to request this escalation; we will do it as soon as the criteria are met.
