What “Expired” Means in the System

Learn what the “Expired” status means in uCheck, when applications are removed for data protection (6 months after result), and what information remains visible.

Written by Ben Nicholas

If an application is marked as expired, this means:

  • We have removed the applicant’s personal information from our system.

  • We do this in line with Data Protection requirements.

An application will expire in our system:

  • 6 months after the result was issued.

At that point, you will still see that a check was completed, but we will no longer hold the applicant’s personal data for that application.
